"Expand Your Mind. Change The World" - The Cole Group
Who is The Cole Group?
The Cole Group was started in 2017 by former Carolina Panther (2013 - 2015) defensive tackle Colin Cole. The Toronto native, who grew up in Florida came to the Carolina's after cold calling the Panthers in 2013. That brave phone call lead to a workout, which lead to a contract that lead to Cole playing 31 of 32 regular season games, including 23 starts. Talk about chasing your dreams.
Just as important as his football career was, Colin wanted to find his purpose after football. His deepest goal has been to leave a positive legacy. Colin, who is now retired from the NFL launched The Cole Group, along with his wife Kaye as a concierge events planning company. From football camps to golf tournaments and black-tie galas, The Cole Group wants to help make your event dreams into a reality!
“The Cole Group has been the most vital resource in bringing the youth at Ft. Jackson and surrounding areas, a football camp built on values and taught by expert retired NFL athletes and area coaches! I would recommend The Cole Group, to anyone serious about putting on a professionally run event in today’s busy world. “ - Dean Durham Ret. U.S. Army; Ret. Drill Sergeant's Academy Commander
What is Officer's Serve?
The Cole Group has partnered with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department to help bridge the gap between police officers and the communities they serve. For example, the Youth Diversion Program is teaching our youth what to do, and more importantly what NOT to do when you are pulled over in a traffic stop. The officers are building relationships and educating these kids.
“Officers Serve” will be a plated dinner event held on Monday, February 5th. “We are excited to be a part of this worthwhile event benefiting CMPD’s community programs such as the mayor’s youth employment program, police cadets and youth diversion programs,” says Colin. This dinner event will be a fun experience with amazing sponsors, local celebrities, and delicious food at Charlotte's best roof top restaurant Fahrenheit.

Sponsered by Dixie Southern Vodka, along with Blue Blaze Brewing Company, Ore Premium Cigars and Yuenling Light Lagar, this is sure to be a great way to kick of fundraising season in the Carolina's. I always look forward to fundraisers, as I love giving back to my community and especially to the kids.
I had fun researching Colin and learning more about him. I had followed his career when he was a Panther and I sometimes see him on “Inside Panthers’ Football”, where he is a regular guest. He's got a great story. He's the definition of a go-getter. A hustler with a heart of gold, who uses his platform to giveback to his community. Y'all know I am all about raising money and giving back to the Charlotte community, so I was an immediate 'YES" when I was invited.
I do I have to say, I am looking forward to chatting with Colin and hearing about the time he preformed on-stage with Bret Michaels. Yeah, the guy from Poison. I also read that Former President Bill Clinton is credited for bringing Colin and his wife Kaye together. Now, that is a story I want to hear!
