Volunteer Opportunity: Dog Lives Matter
Hey everyone. Happy Friday!
I was recently contacted on Volunteer Charlotte about an awesome volunteering opportunity.
As most of you know, 5 years ago I came across a puppy in a bag who had been poisoned with fertilizer. I had no job and no money, but he needed me. With the help of my friends and followers, WE saved his life with selfless donations. I named him Lucky Rza (WU) because well, he was a Lucky to be alive. Today that puppy is a healthy and happy dog who loves to be my sidekick. I am forever greatfull.
Fredo Helping Paws in Need is a registered 501(c)3 No-kill shelter and rescue. They are located in North Charlotte on 8108 Newell Farm Road.
They are in desperate need of volunteers to help love on and play with their fur babies while they are waiting on their forever homes. There is no cleaning involved, although once you are comfortable with the dogs helping with bath time would be wonderful.
A lot of you have inquired about kids/teenagers volunteering. Unfortunately at this time, they can't take anyone under the age of 18. Although none of the dogs are aggressive, that's a risk they can't take.
“Volunteers don’t necessarily have the time but they have the heart” If you are interested, please call or email Lisa at 270-863-1618 or email@example.com and set up an appointment. Please be prepared to give references, including one from a veterinarian. Also, criminal background checks are required. I’ll be posting more volunteering opportunities and trying to find kid friendly options. If you have any questions, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Enjoy your day! High 5s from me and Lucky!
